Dear Juliet, I have at last decided to write a post with an enquiry on Eliot's Four Quartets. It might seem strange but it has been very hard for me to be simple and concise in the post. Juliet-that hits home for me. I've witnessed that scene many times and hope to experience sparks from a bonfire under a star filled sky many more times before I'm gone.
Lovely image! The word "sparks" reminds me of something ephemeral or fleeting and "star filled sky" something eternal or everlasting. Contrastingly beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteI hope they are magnificent -it is quite a spectacle. we used to witness them when my son was in an Waldorf school.
