  1. Ah, it's Bonfire Day, formerly Guy Fawkes Day, right? I'm not sure of the appropriate greeting, but I hope you're having a happy one!

  2. Dear Juliet, I have at last decided to write a post with an enquiry on Eliot's Four Quartets. It might seem strange but it has been very hard for me to be simple and concise in the post.
Please if you feel you can leave your comment you are very, very welcome and if you have time please tell your friends to leave comments too.

    Best wishes,

  4. Juliet-that hits home for me. I've witnessed that scene many times and hope to experience sparks from a bonfire under a star filled sky many more times before I'm gone.

  6. Nice .. and it answers a question we had from reading Dandys Journal - why the bon fires and fireworks.

But - is it Haiku and also is the previous post Haiku too?

  10. Lovely image!
The word "sparks" reminds me of something ephemeral or fleeting and "star filled sky" something eternal or everlasting. Contrastingly beautiful!!

I love your previous Haiku too!
