Well following on from Plate Friday we now have Mug Monday, hosted by Acorn Moon and Weaver of Grass. Here are three of my favourites. The one on the right comes from the same second hand crockery set as the plate I posted in the earlier post. The rabbit mug was a gift I bought for Crafty Green Boyfriend, and typically, one of the few mugs bought new and one of the few to be cracked (we don't drink from it any more)! The middle mug was a gift from my parents many years ago.
I love the unity of colour in your choice of mugs. That rabbit one is SO cute. The cat is gorgeous and the blue mug, stylish. This is going to be as fun day!
The rabbit one reminds me of a mug we have somewhere (I fear it may be in the loft after our last move) of a pottery creature (now, was it a frog?) nestling in the bottom of the mug, so that as you drink up, it almost 'jumps' out of the water.
Happy Mug Monday. Thanks for stopping by to see my mug, sorry I had not got it posted yet but hey are now. I love your Mugs and I also love your blog and your ducks too. Hugs Judy
Hi, thanks for your visit to my blog. I hadn't posted my mug when you came over but I have got around to doing it now. I love your middle mug. So pretty. I would definitely use that one mostly for my coffee.
Probably one of the first things man learned to make was a drinking vessel ... our pioneers carved them from burls on trees and of course made them from gourds!
I like the blue one.
My favorite mug has about 6 months of coffee stains in it .. Bunny Lady had better not wash it ... it has such good flavor!
Oh this looks such fun. I love the idea of a mug monday. I can't go into a store without looking at the mugs. I'm hooked on them. Love the blue one best, so elegant.

Oh a lot of mummy & daddy's mugs have ducks on! I loved your header and the previous post about the ducklings! We saw some yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThe design that I admired as a plate looks equally good as a mug doesn't it?
ReplyDeletesuper cute and delightful mugs. the bunny mug is just so irresistible!happy mug monday!
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice small collection of mugs going on. I really like the middle one and the blue one w/ leaf. Hope all is well. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteVery cheerful!
ReplyDeleteA hard choice but the blue one with the simple leaf design is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices and full of joy!
ReplyDeleteBright and cheerful. I'd have to have my tea in the one with the kitty. Many thanks.

ReplyDeleteI love the blue one... I am partial to blue. And the others are cute as well!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, all my mugs are packed away!
I like all three mugs! I'd have to use one for morning coffee, one for afternoon tea and the third for evening hot cocoa.
ReplyDeleteI love the cat mug (of course). It reminds me of my big fluffball, RED.
