Notes for a landscape poem

winter brittleness of marsh

sunglow white behind grey cloud

in a skeleton tree
a small bird calls thinly
indistinct beneath our words

  3. Well said Juliet - we talk far too much most times, missing out on many natural wonders. Wonderful imagery.

  5. Beautiful. I really like your poems. Have you had anything published? I've started writing your haiku and poems in my diary, but it would be nice if you had already a book of poems. Ciao. Antonella

  6. Lovely. I think the title is special in itself. It sort of suggests how nature is never quite finished, always a work in progress.
