An attempt at a new poetic form - The Fib
Across at One Deep Breath the current haiku challenge is to create a Fib, a haiku type poem using the first numbers from the Fibonacci series (1/1/2/3/5/8). This is perfect for me as I have spent ages tryring to write a poem about the Fibonacci series. (Honestly!). Here is my first attempt at a Fib. pine
cone
spiral
nebulae
the fruit of the plant
envisioning the universe

I think your first attempt turned out great! Wonderful fib!
great fib! I love pine cones and the Fibonnaci sequence is really quite intriguing.
Very cool! These are fun to do, fun to read!
I like your first attempt. I am going to give it a try.
Very nice! I am enjoying this challenge and hope to do as well as you on my first attempt (still working on it though)
Wonderful fib - and great job for the first try! I tried for the first time too - such fun!
Wow! Wonderful fib, they're so addictive.

trees rustle
breath of the seasons
these delicate petals trembling
That is the only fib I have ever written - on 4/28/06. I learned the fib from a site I frequent - you should visit him http://ozymandiaz1.blogspot.com/
beautiful fib!
Thanks for all your comments (and your fib faustina!). I visited the link faustina recommended and if anyone else hasn't visited yet it's worth doing so! I went on a lovely walk today and have written tow haiku that will appear here soon. I'll try more fibs too, nice form!
I love pine cones! Great fib!
As usual beautiful words...
I like this, what I especially like about it is that the line breaks make sense, whereas some I have seen split lines for no good reason other than to fit the syllable count.
Wow! You really nailed this...the form, the theme and the Zen of it all!
Thanks for your comments, Tammy, Bondbloke, Catherine and Susan! With all this encouragement I'll definitely try some more fibs!
First I have heard of this, very intriquing it is, you make it seem simple, great art, I will try and maybe bring one back to show.
