heron haiku

constant drizzle -
a grey heron stands still
mid river

  2. Hi Carruthers, your comment reminds me of the novel Lost Language of Cranes (not to be confused with my own poem Lost Dances of Cranes) where I thought the cranes were birds, but turned out to be construction cranes
