Cherry Blossoms in the Meadows
The Meadows in Edinburgh are famous for their cherry trees and rightly so. They are so beautiful when they're fully in bloom as they are now. Photos from yesterday's lunchtime walk.
but they don't last long and the first blossoms are already falling
So if you're in Edinburgh this weekend is an ideal time to visit The Meadows!

Beautiful! Having moved back South, most of the blossoms have already passed for the season.
ReplyDeleteBrings back memories. An old mate used to live in a tenement right next to it (them?). I stayed over quite often in those days, en route to and from the Highlands, where, over the years, we bagged a few Munros together and relived a few 1930s rock climbs.
