I caught this beautiful shadow in Craiglockart Dell by the Water of Leith earlier in the week
Meanwhile, the lovely shadows of the beech tree below (also in Craiglockart Dell) are from earlier this year, at the beginning of autumn. The rock in this photo is interesting too as it's a glacial erratic, a rock that was left here after the glaciers retreated at the end of the last ice age.
For Shadow Shot Sunday.
Fabulous shadow shots. We live in the land of glaciers and it is fascinating to learn about the geography created by them. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the long shadows this time of year, especially when on snow.
ReplyDeleteLots of erratics here too - people love them!!!
