The gorse is in bloom as it is for most of the year
This bunny had the right idea, basking in the sun
though when we walked back along the path later, the bunny had disappeared, probably hiding from the hunting kestrel that we followed right round the hill! It's wonderful to get good views of a kestrel hovering, they hang in the air in a most amazing way.
Thanks Crafty Green Boyfriend for the photos of bunny and kestrel.
Oh and sharing this photo for Weekend Reflections
Ice and flowers blooming? I could live with that. Not only do I love the name, it looks like a wonderful place to walk.
ReplyDeleteNice walk. I'm sure that bunny, while sunny, was keeping an eye toward the heavens and on lookout for birds of prey.
ReplyDeleteYour weather sounds like what we are having, here on Vancouver island, cold but nice and sunny.

Those are some brave little flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place -- and to have flowers blooming in the cold? Perfection. I always enjoy your bunnies. I rarely see one here, so it's always a special treat to catch a glimpse, even in a photo.
