The garden is full of these lovely flowers
They even grow around the airborne roots of this fallen tree
Cammo Country Park is a lovely place (though very muddy in places!). It has lovely views over to the iconic old water tower, these days used as a nest site for a colony of jackdaws
The many beautiful trees around the park have yet to come into leaf and looked dramatic against today's wonderful skies
The fields around the country park are beautiful too, and well known for their populations of declining birds species. We were totally delighted today to see a flock of around 20 tree sparrows in the hedges around one of the field, along with reed bunting and greenfinch. Thanks to Crafty Green Boyfriend for these photos:

Sadly the threat of potential housing development still hangs over these fields (you can read more about this here).
We have one miniature daffodil in the front garden, it perks me up:-) Really love your new header picture too.
ReplyDeleteOh I have always liked snowdrops and there were lots to see in your photo's, thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks a lovely Country Park to visit.
Hope you have a good weekend
All the best Jan

ReplyDeletehave a great weekend Juliet!
The snowdrops are still going strong there, ours are starting to go past their best in the last couple of weeks
ReplyDeleteI have not seen ours yet. I hope they did not die in last year's drought and heat here.
ReplyDeleteHello, the snowdrops are beautiful. I like the cute Reed Bunting. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI have never seed so many snowdrops in one place. It looks like you had a good birding day there, too.
