We left plenty of time for our drive from Drumbeg back to Inverness to catch our train. On the way we had time enough to stop at this spectacular waterfall at Corrieshalloch Gorge.
It's a long way down from that viewing platform and I was feeling a bit vertiginous!
That must have been an amazing sight after all the recent rain.
ReplyDeleteWaterfalls are always so amazing!
ReplyDeleteDartford Warbler, this area of the Highlands though hasn't had much rain at all since the beginning of June! It's had a sunny, warm summer so far! While the rest of us in the UK have been washed out!
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous place. i love waterfalls. the gorge reminds me of a place i go to here... only a lot smaller. hope all is well. have a great day~
ReplyDeleteyou do look a bit queazy there - never managed to the visit the gorge when I was up there so am a bit envious.
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty waterfalls. My hubby would love to see this one too. Great shot of you and the waterfall. Hope you are having a great day.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! In real life though, I would start feeling queasy. Not just because of the height, but I tend to feel like I'm suffocating if there's a lot of spray in the air or if the wind blows in my face. The awesome experiences that I can't take part in...I'm hopeless. :(
ReplyDeletewow, looks beautiful there! lovely green landscape!
ReplyDeleteThough you claim to be feeling a bit dizzy, the photo of you is lovely. And the falls are magnificent.
ReplyDeleteSomething about a waterfall ...
ReplyDeletean exciting waterfall - i bet there are people who (would gladly) climb down those rocks!
