Some of you may remember that I've been 'studying' some trees for the Tree Year project. (You can see all my Tree Year blogposts here). Tree Year actually ended earlier this month, but that passed me by and I had been thinking of the project on a calendar year basis. Anyway, here are my trees in their winter guises.

ReplyDeleteThe best thing about bare trees - well, one good thing - is that the bird nests are so visible. I'm always amazed to find whole communities have been established right under our noses!

I just love trees, full-stop. These are no exception.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't take long for the year to come round and the tree to be bare again. Soon we'll have the new year on us and the signs of spring start from there really - the tree being just one of them.
I followed the links and now finally, belatedly understand your posts in the context of Tree Year. What a fascinating way to appreciate a fascinating subject!
