Colinton Dell

The daffodils are almost at the point of opening.

Two roe deer chase each other alongside the path, then they veer and leap gracefully over the path and into the trees.

  2. I'm amazed that you are getting so green already! I was wondering are roe deer native to Scotland or introduced?

  3. Bill - roe deer are native but became almost extinct in the 1800s and were then reintroduced.

That must be stunning when the flowers are in bloom. I like the way they meander into the woods.

  17. I guess it must be a LOT warmer in Scotland than it is here in Ontario, Canada! I haven't seen the leaves pole through the soil yet. :) But I am enjoying spring as it pops all over Blogland.
