I took this photo last week at a friend's house, I love the shadows on the cactus and the reflections in the window, not to mention the autumnal colours outside!
Don't hold it against me, but I once took a very large knife to a cactus plant. It was a gift from a boyfriend who dumped me! Should have seen the foreshadowing to a prickly relationship.
Lovely image though (and I would never do that now).
Very creative, and a fabulous photo!

The reflection almost looks painted on the window. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is strange, but every time I click your comment link my router resets. What's up with that?
This is a really good one. It's almost as if the cactus is longing to go outside.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and perfect!I liked it a lot!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend reflection

the ghost of a cacti! ;) Very nice, good catch.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this is a wonderful picture! I love the reflection on the window and the pretty colors outside.
ReplyDeleteCreative reflections...yeah I do love the cactus too.
ReplyDeleteLove how the outside colours seem to melt down the window! Delightful photo!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection shot...and nice fall foliage outdoors also...
ReplyDeleteNice reflection. First seed I ever planted and tried to cultivate was a cactus.
ReplyDeleteThis is the kind of reflection most of us miss. (Maybe I should just speak for myself here! LOL) And yet it makes such an interesting photo.
ReplyDeleteExcellent! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture!
ReplyDeleteIt has a ghostlike appearance to it that I like.
that's a unique photo. i love the cactus reflection.
ReplyDeleteglad you were able to enjoy another walk around Water of Leith with the dippers sounding in the area. they sound like lively birds.
my router always resets everytime too. hope all is well. have a great weekend.
It looks like it's checking out its reflection!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot, the colors are wonderful. It does look like he is checking himself out! Kathy
ReplyDeleteThe "real" cactus looks more like the shadow. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThat is the only plant that can survive my care :) Wonderful picture!
ReplyDeleteGreat things can be done with reflections and shadows. I love pictures reflected off water.
ReplyDeleteNice shot. The cactus seems to be waving at the leaves outside, or at himself!
ReplyDeletePerfect reflection and angle shot!
ReplyDeleteThis allows this cactus to feel like he is part of the outside world and therefore not feel lonely... :-)
ReplyDeleteNice.
this picture reminds me of a cheeky pepperami in cactus drag going tadaa!!! I'm a bit of alright. Nice one crafty.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo my friend. It's just stunning. Thanks for stopping by my playground. I appreciate :)
ReplyDeleteThis photo works on may levels -- light study-shadow play, color contrasts, reflections -- and the contrast in flora types. Nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteThat is so creative I really like it. I do a lot of floral stills and this is a great idea to add to my stock!
ReplyDeleteGreat you took the time to notice the reflection! I probably would have walked right by wondering where I would see one.
ReplyDeleteReflections are everywhere, and you've found a very good one!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely not the usual reflection-picture.
ReplyDeleteGood reflection - I also love how the sun shines through the real thing.
ReplyDeleteA ghost of a cactus staring from the outside... Very good reflection, nice subject.
ReplyDeleteI visit you through SSS - have now just discovered Reflections! Love your cactus relction - great shot.
