You really did a great job contrasting the hunt for love with the hunt for prey. Maybe each one is really the same-- the hunt is for what we desire but don't yet have?
Everyone has hit on all the remarks I would think to make. One more comes to mind, and while I am not a vegan or vegetarian, simply hunting "for the hell of it," sure can have consequences beyond the simple moment.
