It's very strange. The TV and newspapers were involved at the 'Say Goodbye to the Trees' event a few weeks ago. They're still (as far as I know) in the loop on developments. Edinburgh Council are out for money, not the interests of the people of Edinburgh, many are against the cutting down of trees, why, because they provide us with clean air, provide wildlife a home, can help stop flooding and give shade to us in hot weather, but nope, they aren't money spinners, all about greed, greed, greed !!!! Shame on Edinburgh Coulcil !! Get the TV and papers involved, after the outcry when over 50 beautiful trees in Prices St Gardens were cut down for no good reason TV and papers might be interested Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06618068074509698304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16542790.post-24473549089869907762019-01-31T19:47:25.402+00:002019-01-31T19:47:25.402+00:00What a short-sighted move on the council's par...What a short-sighted move on the council's part :-(<br />Or is starting the work before the consultation a cynical ploy to enable them to carry on regardless of the consultation outcome because so much destruction will have already occurred?Stephanie Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071958445763105060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16542790.post-34399110799018133032019-01-28T22:20:25.748+00:002019-01-28T22:20:25.748+00:00I hope the trees can be saved.
